Three things to know before comparing TRT prices
- Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. Legitimate providers require blood work showing low testosterone plus a clinician evaluation before prescribing — and periodic labs after. A clinic that skips the diagnosis is a red flag, not a bargain.
- Labs are part of the real cost. Initial panels and recurring monitoring labs can add hundreds per year. Our table notes whether labs are included or extra.
- Your own doctor + insurance may be cheapest. If labs confirm a diagnosis, insurance often covers generic testosterone cypionate for a normal copay. That path pays us nothing; it's listed because it's often the best deal.
TRT telehealth providers, compared
The ongoing monthly cost column is membership plus medication after intro pricing, cash-pay. Some clinics use pharmacy-compounded formulations (creams, troches) — not FDA-approved products. Where a provider publishes no pricing, we say "verification in progress" rather than repeating third-party guesses.

How to read the pricing models
Want the clearest total cost
Hone Health publishes every component — $65 assessment, membership tier, per-medication price — so you can compute your exact all-in cost before signing up. Fountain TRT's single flat fee from $199/mo is the simplest structure if its cream format is right for you.
Read the cost guideChasing the lowest sticker
TRT Nation at $99/mo is the lowest advertised flat rate here — but add the recurring lab fees before comparing it against clinics that include labs. A $99 med fee plus paid labs can land near a $155 membership with labs included.
