Medical Disclaimer
TelehealthTrueCost is not a medical provider. We are a publisher that researches and compares the published prices and policies of licensed telehealth companies. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing here creates a doctor–patient relationship.
Please read this before acting on anything you see here
- Everything we cover is a prescription drug. GLP-1 medications like semaglutide (Wegovy®, Ozempic®) and tirzepatide (Zepbound®, Mounjaro®), menopause hormone therapy (estrogen, progesterone), and testosterone can only be legally obtained with a prescription from a licensed clinician after a medical evaluation. Testosterone is additionally a federally controlled substance (Schedule III). Any website offering these medications without a prescription should be avoided.
- These medications are not appropriate for everyone. GLP-1s carry contraindications (including personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma and MEN 2); hormone therapies carry their own contraindications, risks, and monitoring requirements. Interactions and side effects can be serious. Only a clinician who knows your history can weigh them for you.
- We describe results generally, never promise them. Outcomes in clinical trials are averages; individual results vary widely, and no outcome is guaranteed.
- Talk to your doctor before starting, stopping, or switching any medication — including switching between branded and compounded or oral formulations.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep prices, coverage details, and program terms current, and each page shows its last-verified date with sources. Providers change prices and offerings frequently; always confirm current terms on the provider's own site before purchasing. If you spot something outdated, email hello@telehealthtruecost.com and we will fix it.
