Privacy Policy
TelehealthTrueCost ("we") is a content website. We deliberately collect as little as possible — and in particular, we never ask for or store health information.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you subscribe to our price-alert newsletter. Used solely to send that newsletter; unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
- Basic analytics — aggregate page-view data (pages visited, referrer, approximate region, device type) to understand what content is useful. We do not build individual profiles.
- Messages you send us — if you email us, we keep the correspondence to respond to it.
What we do not collect
- No health, medical, or prescription information — we never ask, and our forms have no fields for it.
- No payment information — we sell nothing directly.
- No account system, no login, no stored profiles.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you click a link to a telehealth provider, that provider's affiliate network sets a cookie in your browser so the provider knows the visit came from us. From that point you are on the provider's site under their privacy policy — anything you share with them (including health information in their intake) is between you and them, and it never comes back to us. We receive only anonymous conversion reporting (e.g., "one signup occurred"), never your identity or health details.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent any personal information. Emails on our newsletter list are stored with our email service provider solely to deliver the newsletter.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (one click, in every email).
- Email hello@telehealthtruecost.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted — for most visitors the answer is "nothing."
- Block cookies in your browser; the site works fine without them.
Children
This site is for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes affecting newsletter subscribers will be announced by email.
